Wigeon (like pigeon with a W) is a breed of duck and also the name of our keeper. We bred Scout to Clint in hopes of getting a blend of the two both physically and mentally and we seem to have achieved this and so we anticipate having a lot of fun with her as she grows up. She has inherited Dad's passion for retrieving and penchant for water. Wigie is smart and silly and since she is our oldest daughter's dog she just loves small children. She thinks they are so fun to chase and lick!
Wigeon is in training for her JH this spring/summer. She is a great marker and has loads of drive and perseverance. Wigeon has recently taken up search and rescue and loves her training and hopefully she will become a vital member of a team.
